Approach
Quintinia is an educational project in the heart of the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde. The name Quintinia literally means “little farm”.

Quintinia is an open center for education, culture and art, accessible to people of all ages. School classes, families, teachers in training, supervisors of youth workshops, ... everyone is very welcome!
Interactivity
The farm is conceived as an interactive location for play, work, research, discovery and expression.
We organize several workshops (both for children and adults), offer sufficient outdoor play areas, a petting zoo and vegetable garden.

Central to all these projects is the personal creative development of each individual.
This development occurs uniquely for everyone, depending on age, background, mood and other factors. The holistic approach strives to address all dimensions of the human being: intellectual, emotional, sensory and motor.
Quintinia is a space where adults learn to play again, while children play to learn.

The game is the bridge to intellectual, social or artistic development. We offer an extensive range of activities, ranging from cognitive games and manual activities to philosophical discussions, with the possibility of ultimately cooking together.
